First they signed veteran Eric Neilson to a 25 game Professional tryout. He was originally drafted by the LA Kings in 2004. He played with the Syracuse Crunch last season and has one assist and 62 penalty minutes.
They also assigned right winger Stefan Fournier to Brampton Beast of the East Coast Hockey League. He played with Hamilton and Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL league last season.
