Southern Shore Breakers suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of Mt. Pearl Blades. The Blades came away with a 4-1 win. Grant Thompson had three goals for the Blades Michael Barnes had a single. Justin David replied for the Shore.

 

St. John’s Junior Hockey League action Sunday Trinity Placentia Flyers beat Northeast Eagles 6-3.
Connor Stevens had three goals and an assist for the winners. Lyndon Thorne, Jordan Mercer and Ethan Street had singles.

Josh Taylor netted pair for Northeast and Curtis Kavanagh had the single.

S A T U R D A Y 

Tyler Wall and Andrew Barron scored two goals each and that helped C-B-R Renegades double the Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 8-4 Saturday night. Brad Connors, Lucas Lush, Nicholas David and Tyler Hennessey added singles.

Coady Barron, Owen Winsor, Jared Lush and Ian Predham replied for the Capitals.

The St. John’s Caps scored four goals in the first and third periods and beat Trinity Placentia Flyers 9-2.

Danny Rice had a five point night for the winners with three goals and two assists. Dylan MacKenzie backed up Rice with two goals. Chris Mallard, Stephan Mallard, Liam Maher and Kyle Rumsey had singles.

Dakota Warren and Jarod Remedios replied for the Flyers.
