Sean Janes gets the win as Holy Cross win their 9th game of the season beating Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings 10-1 in senior baseball play Thursday night at St. Pat’s.
Janes went seven innings and allowed one run on nine hits. He walked two and struck out four.
David Lahey takes the loss and Blair Rogers and Allan Saunders came in relief.
Andrew Paul of the Vikings was the top batter in this game with a three for four performance.
Holy Cross clinch the fourth and final playoff spot in the league standings and will play Shamrocks in one semi final series while Gonzaga and Knights meet in the other series.
