ACTION FROM MONDAY’S LADIES JUBILLEE SOCCCER ( JOE CHASE PHOTO)

Holy Cross Avalon Ford women captured their fifth straight Breen’s Jubilee Trophy championship Monday afternoon with a 5-0 win over Feildians. 

Holy Cross goals came from Kate Hickey who tallied twice with singles from Malorie Harris, Jessie Noseworthy and Holly O’Neill. 

Goalkeeper Hannah Noseworthy recorded the shut out

Nicole Torraville of Holy Cross was awarded the Sherry Morrissey award as MVP of the playoffs; Bethany Hynes of Feildians received the Ann Woodford award as Most effective and sportsperson like player.
