Shamrocks evened their season record to one win and one loss in senior baseball play Sunday.

Pitcher Matt Murphy tossed a one hitter for the defending champions as they defeated Knights 6-nothing at St. Pat’s. 

 

 

 

 

Holy Cross unleashed a 17 hit attack and came from behind to beat Roebothan McKay and Marshall  Gonzaga Vikings  16-4 in senior baseball play Sunday. Holy Cross improve to 2-0 in the season with the win and Gonzaga have an even 1-1 record.

Justin Crawley gets the win and David Lahey takes the loss. 

Ken O’Brien and Gerald Butt hit solo home runs for the Vikings. 

 

F R I D A Y 

Holy Cross Trinity Pub won it’s opening game of the 2017 St. John’s senior baseball season Friday night beating Fifth Ticket Feildians 5-3 at St. Pat’s.

Sean Janes started for the Crusaders and gets the win. He had relief help from Gerry Stone.

Alex Walsh got the start for the Feildians and was tagged with the loss. Dan Phillips came on in relief.

Aaron Flood of the Feildians had three hits.
