HNL TO RULE ON MATCH PENALTY

Hockey Newfoundland says it will rule later this week on a suspension for Clarenville Caribous defenseman Justin Pender.

Pender received a match penalty in Sunday’s game against the Cataracts. Its alleged he threw a water bottle at the referee and was assessed a match penalty.
