HITMEN, BULLDOGS TAKE LEAD

SOFTBALL AT PITCHERS AREA

 

NTV Hitmen and Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs have taken two games to one lead in their best of five St. John’s Senior Fast Pitch Softball semi-final series.

Robbie Green pitches a four hitter leading the Hitmen to a 6-2 decision over the Bigs. Green walked four and struck out three.

Mark Power takes the loss. He was touched for nine hits, walked three and fanned one.

Fergus Griffiths and Brad Ezekiel both went two for four for the winners.

Stephen Jesso and Bryan Clarke homered for the losers

 

Liam Myers and Mark Lewis hit two run homers and Sean Cleary a solo shot as Kelly’s Pub Molson Bulldogs defeated Dance Academy Dodgers 8-1.

Blair Ezekiel tosses the win. He gave up one run on one hit, walked two and struck out four. Colin Walsh takes the loss getting tagged for ten hits.

The senior playoffs resume Tuesday night at Lions with Kellys Pub Molson Bulldogs and Dance Academy playing at six and at eight NTV Hitmen face the Bigs.
