GROWLERS SIGN THACKER

The Newfoundland Growlers have signed the Mississauga, Ontario native Kyle Thacker to a one-year, ECHL contract.

The 6’-3”, 205-pound defensemen appeared in four games in the ECHL last season with the Wheeling Nailers.

MEANWHILE

Growlers James Melindy, Marcus Power, Kristians Rubins, Semyon Babintsev, & Michael Garteig, along with St. John’s native Zach O’Brien, are on the training camp roster for the Toronto Marlies.
