The Newfoundland Growlers defeated Brampton Beast 3-1 Sunday in East Coast Hockey play in Reading, Giorgio Estephan scored what proved to be the game winning goal at 2:32 of the third period. Brady Ferguson added an empty net goal in the third. Todd Skirving tied the game for the Growners with his goal in the second period.
