He is known to his teammates with the Shamrocks as Goose.

Scott Goosney is his name and he lived up to his nickname on Thursday night.

Goose or Goosney pitched a seven inning complete game no hitter ( a goose egg if you like) as OMT Shamrocks blanked Fifth Ticket Feildians 5-nothing at St. Pat’s. He also didnt allow a walk and struckout six.

Alex Walsh went the distance for Feildians and scattered eight hits over the seven innings. He walked and fanned two.

Scott Stockley of the Shamrocks was the top batter in the game with a three for for performance with two singles and a double.

It’s the second no hitter of this season in senior baseball.

Roebothan McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings pitcher Dan Connors threw a no hitter against Shamrocks on opening day of the season.
