GALWAY HITMEN CHANADIAN CHAMPIONS

The Galway Hitmen  claimed their third national fast pitch softball championship in four years Sunday. The Hitmen defeated BC Sooke Loggers 10-7 in the championship game. The Galway team won three straight games Sunday to claim the title.

Colin Walsh got credit for the win in the title game . In five innings he allowed four runs on five hits fanned four and did not walk a batter. 

Walsh was named the playoff most valuable player. In this game Blair Ezekiel went three for five with four runs batted in. Shane Boland went three for four with a home run three runs scored and two rub. Brad Ezekiel went two for two with a home run and Walsh also homered.
