FLYERS, BREAKERS WIN IN JUNIOR HOCKEY

S A T U R D A Y

Dylan MacKenzie scored twice leading St. John’s Caps to a 4-2 win over Southern Shore Breakers. Evan Reid and Michael Williams had singles . Ryan Howlett and Brendan Houlihan had singles for the Shore.

 

 

 

 

F R I D A Y

Two games St. John’s Junior Hockey League games were played Friday night and both ended in 6-4 scores.

Justin Edison scored twice including the winner as Trinity Placentia Flyers beat Northeast Eagles 6-5. Joe Toope, Jordan Pomeroy, Lyndan Thoene and Mitch Lawler added singles. 

Kyle Rumsey, Stephen Kennedy, Ryan Ricketts, Kyle Champion and Tyler Anthony replied for the Eagles.

Southern Shore Breakers also won 6-5 over CBN Stars. 

Cameron Forward, Mark Lushman, Kieran O’Driscoll, Brendan Houlihan, Logan Brothers and Chandler Warren scored for the Breakers. 

Ryan Petten had two goals and Mark Barrett, David Hibbs and Luke Akerman replied for the Stars.
