Sport Newfoundland and Labrador has announced that five new members will be inducted into the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame. Selected by the Newfoundland and Labrador Sports Hall of Fame Board of Governors, these inductees will be celebrated at the Stars and Legends Awards Gala taking place on April 27, 2019.
The 2019 inductees are:
Angus Barrett in the “Athlete/Builder” category (Soccer)
Ward Gosse in the “Athlete” category (Softball, Hockey)
Bill Hogan in the “Builder” category (Swimming)
Terry Ryan Senior in the “Athlete” category (Hockey)
Michael Ryder in the “Athlete” category (Hockey)
