The St. John’s Edge unveiled the uniforms they will wear for the 2018-19 season at Holy Heart of Mary High School on Friday evening.

The team unveiled both a white (home) and blue (away) uniform. The Edge have decided to go with Nike as the brand for this year’s uniforms, the custom look features a sleek blue and white design down the side of the jersey and onto the shorts, with the Nike logo featured prominently on the right of the jersey and the top left of the shorts.

The white and blue uniform’s feature the Newfoundland flag displayed in two locations. The first location, just above the name bar and the second location on the middle of the waist band on the shorts. The key difference from last year’s uniform is that both have the player number displayed both on the front and the back, which is a requirement of the NBL Canada and is a known trait for basketball teams across the globe.

You will find the St. John’s Edge logo is still a part of this year’s uniform as well, although in contract to last year’s uniform the logo is set on the right side of the shorts.

On the white uniform the crest reads, “St. John’s Edge” while the blue reads “The Edge”. The white uniform encompasses the pride in the city and the people of St. John’s, while the blue uniform is representative of the team name and location in Canada of our beloved province.
