The Edge have signed Tyler Haws and Ransford Brempong.
Tyler Haws, a native of Alpine, Utah, played four seasons in the NCAA with the Brigham Young Cougars. Haws, 6-foot-5, 195 pounds, averaged 19.55 points, 4.3 rebounds and touted a .479 field goal percentage with the Cougars. In 2013-14 Haws was awarded the West Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Player of the Year after he averaged 23.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals and shot .463 from the field, .404 from three and .881 from the free-throw line in 33 games.
The 36-year-old, Ransford Brempong, a native of Brampton, Ontario, was a member on the Canadian Senior Men’s National Team from 2006-2008. Ransford, 6-foot-8, 215 pounds averaged 7.9 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game during his four seasons in the NCAA with Western Carolina University where he is currently the Southern Conference all-time leader in blocked shots.
