EDGE SIGN TWO MORE PLAYERS FOR NEW SEASON

The reigning NBLC Most Improved Player, Junior Cadougan, a Toronto, ON native, has re-signed with the St. John’s Edge for the 2019-2020 season.  Cadougan, a 7 year pro has played in Georgia, Italy and Greece before returning to the NBL Canada prior to the 2016 season.

 

Cadougan played 45 games last season with the Edge, helping them to their first ever trip to the NBLC Finals.  Cadougan averaged 12.2 PPG, 4.2 APG and 3.8 RPG while shooting 51.1% from the field and 28.3% from 3-point range.

Murphy Burnatowski, a Kitchener, Ontario native, has re-signed for the 2019-2020 season with the St. John’s Edge. Burnatowski, a 6 year pro has played in Poland, Czech Republic, Switzerland, Cyprus and Vietnam before joining the Edge in March of last season.

In 22 games with the Edge last season Burnatowski averaged 15.8 PPG, 4.7 RPG and 1.5 APG while shooting 42.2E% from the field and 38.2% from three.
