Watson, has led his team to the NBLC Finals on three separate occasions while in Halifax.

Head Coach Steve Marcus on the signing of Tyrone Watson; “Tyrone is one of the most dominant players in NBLC history.  He has been in the league for four seasons and has been to the finals three times, an absolute winner. He is the consummate professional who we will lean on to be a leader in our locker room and in the community.”

Watson on signing with the Edge; “I am very excited to join the St. John’s Edge basketball family and community.  The fan base and atmosphere as an opponent playing here the past few years has been pure class. It’s a championship mentality and setting I have only experienced in my career.  Based off of last season I am comfortable with my decision. I didn’t come here to get swept, I am ready to #DefendTheRock.”
