The New Kids on the Block–the St Johns Edge now have a 3-1 record in the National Basketball League. The Edge behind Alex Johnson’s 19 point performance beat Moncton 96-89. Rasham Brocdus had 18 points and Charles Hinkle 16. The Edge played the game without Carl English who was given the night off.
The Edge started the season with a 97-96 win over the Island Storm. They lost to Halifax 124-121 then beat Cape Breton 106-98. They will finish this five game road trip Friday against St John Riptide.
