The St John’s Caps edged Trinity Placentia Flyers 7-6 in St. John’s Junior Hockey play Saturday night.
Cody Barron led the winners with a hat trick with singles from Steve Baldwin, Steven Day, Alex Hodder and Jake Abbott. Justin Edison had three goals for the Flyers and William Hickey and Liam Shge had singles.

A J Doyle scored three goals and Connor McCarthy made 61 saves as Southern Shore Breakers defeated CBN Stars 7-2 in St. John’s Junior Hockey play Friday night.
Brandon Arbour added two goals for the Shore with singles by Noah Dinn and Blake Dalton.
Cameron Simms and Ryan Williams had the CBN goals.
