Deer Lake Red Wings improved to 3-0 in West Coast Senior Hockey League play Friday night beating the Corner Brook Royals 7-3 at the Hodder in Deer Lake.
Ryan Penney pumped home two goals for the Wings. The single goals came from Michael Maher, Stephen Simms, Drew Langdon, Jalen Gillard and Noah Legge.
Josh Taylor tallied twice for the Royals and Josh Smith and Ryan Gillam had singles. The Royals drop to 1-2 in the year and Port aux Basques are winless in two games.
