Hawks defeat Aces 9-6 in Corner Brook senior baseball play on Tuesday night. The Hawks scored five runs in the fifth inning and held off the Aces four runs in the bottom of the seventh for the win.
Veteran Frank Humber gets the win on a six hitter and three strikeouts. Steve Hynes starts for the Aces and takes the loss. Jay Warford and Steve Kelly also pitched.
Darren Colbourne, Darrin O Quinn, Perry Alexander, Ryan Price and Chris Gaudon all had two hits each for Hawks.
