Connors, pitching for Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings pitched a no hitter as the Vikings blanked the defending champions Shamrocks 2-nothing in the curtain riser for the baseball leagues 70th season.
Scott Goosney took the loss allowing just five hits over the seven innings.
The Vikings scored single runs in the forth and sixth innings.
