1 min read

Members of the baseball community gathered on Friday night to celebrate the life of Gordon Breen who passed away on Friday and to say goodbye to a man know by many as ” Mr Baseball.”

Breen played for Holy Cross in St. John’s starting in 1947 when baseball was revived.

The Holy  Cross team presented its lineup for the game and one of the substitutes was G.Breen.

A classy move buy the Crusaders and a classy way to say farewell to a long time Crusader.
