S U N D A Y 

Jeremy Nicholas  scored twice as Southern Shore Breakers doubled the CB Blues 4-2. Michael Chafe and Matthew Oates had singles. Michael Ryan and Tyler Tibbo scored for the Blues. 

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

Chad Earle scored five goals and Clarenville Caribous blated St. John’s Caps 9-1 to take a 2-0 lead in that East Coast Senior Hockey League semi final.

 

Kevin Reid added two goals and Lucas Goobie and Mason Reid had single.

 

Mark Rideout scored for the Caps.

 

That series resumes next weekend in Clarenville.

 

M E A N W H I L E 

Southern Shore Breakers have taken the first game of their East Coast semi final series with CB Blues with a 5-2 win on Saturday night.

 

Four players shared in the scoring Keegan Kennedy, Daniel Cadigan, Andrew Gale and Brandon Baird.

 

Brandon Burry and Kyle Tibbo scored for the Blues

Game two is set for Sunday night at eight at the arena on Mobile.

 

F R I D A Y 

Clarenville Caribous won their opening game against St John’s Caps 5-1 in East Coast Senior Hockey semi-final play Friday.

The Caps grabbed a 1-nothing lead after one period and the Caribous shut the Caps down scoring twice in the second and three times in the third for the win.

Kevin Reid led the winners with two goals with Keith Delaney, Chris Sparkes and Brad Crann with singles.

Colin Escott scored for the Caps.
