Clarenville Caribous opened their 2017-18 Central West Hockey season on a winning note Saturday beating Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts 3-1.
Ryan Derosiers, Justin Pender and Mason Reid scored the goals for the Caribous, Mike Hynes had the Cats goal.
