CLARENVILLE ON TO ESCHL FINAL

The Clarenville Caribous are off to the final in the East Coast Senior Hockey League.

 

Clarenville swept the St John’s Caps with a 4-2 win Saturday night.

 

Mason Reid had two goals and Lucas Goobie and Chad Eagle singles.

 

The await the winner of the Southern Shore-CB Blues series

The Clarenville Caribous are one win from a berth in this years East Coast Senior Hockey League best of seven final series. 

Friday night the Caribous downed the St. John’s Caps 6-2 to take a commanding three games to none lead in the best of seven semi-final. Mason Reid led the Caribous with a pair of goals with singles from Chad Earle, Chris Sparkes, Cody McNamara and Kevin Reid.

Mark Rideout and Terry Ryan replied for the Caps.

Game four is set for Clarenville at 7:30 Saturday night.
