Cataracts moved into sole possession of first place Sunday with a 4-2 win over the Clarenville Caribous.
Michael Brent paced the Cats with two goals his second into an empty net late in the third period. Luke Gallant and Danny Wicks added singles. Stuart McRae and Ryan Delaney had the Caribous goals.
Corner Brook Royals moved into a tie for second place with the Caribous thanks to a 4-3 win over the Gander Flyers.
Ryan Salvis, Ryan Penney, Brandon Hynes and Michael Hynes had the Royals markers. Arron Asham, Jordan Escott and Paul Hutchings replied for Gander.
