The first place Cataracts won their 14th game of the season beating Clarenville Caribous 6-3 . Michael Brent and Andre Gill with two goals apiece for the Cataracts who have 29 points this season. Ryan Derosiers had a pair of goals for the Caribous.

Corner Brook Royals are in second place winning their ninth game of the season 5-1 over Gander Flyers. Ryan Watson scored twice for the Royals.

 

 

 

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

The Corner Brook Royals down the Gander Flyers 5-3 in west central hockey play Saturday night. Brandon Hynes and Ryan Watson had two goals each for the Royals. Ray Dalton had two Flyers goals. That win moves the Royals into second place in the league standings

The Cataracts increased their first place lead with a 4-2 win  over Clarenville who now are in third place tied with Gander. Danny Wicks scored twice for the winners with Cam Fergus and Michael Brent with singles.
