Gander Flyers and Cataracts split their weekend senior hockey series. The Flyers won Sunday in a shootout 3-2. Andrew Ryan got the winner in the shootout. Andrew Paul and Paul Hutchings  had the other Gander goals. Sammy Hounsell and Alex Daley replied for the Cats.

S A T U R D A Y

Grand Falls Windsor Cataracts skated to a 5-0 win over Gander Flyers in Senior hockey play.

Kyle McGuirk had two goals for the Cataracts with singles from Brandon Bussey, Michael Brent and Danny Wicks. Same teams play Sunday
