BREAKERS WIN OPENING GAME OF SEMIS

Southern Shore Breakers won the opening game of their best of seven St John’s Junior hockey League semi-final  with a 9-4 win over Trinity Placentia Flyers.

 

Peter Kavanagh and Blake Dalton tallied twice each for the winners. Matt Templeman, Mitchell O’ Driscoll, Donavon Warren, A J Doyle and Shayne Kavanagh added singles.

 

Tyler Whittle, Matt Hanson, Conal McNamara and Dakota Warren replied for the Flyers. Saturday night the series between the Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals and St John’s Caps begins
