CAPS BEAT CARIBOUS IN A ROUGH GAME

It was a rough game in East Coast Senior Hockey Friday night between the St. John’s Caps and Clarenville Caribous. Three players from each team were given fighting majors and misconducts.

The Caps skated to a 6-3 win over the Caribous with six players sharing the scoring for the winners.

Thomas Hogan, Matthew Fewer, Joe Trenhome, Ryan Hawco, Pat O’Keefe and Jordan Escott scored the Caps goals. 

Mason Reid, Chris Sparkes and Kenny Mahoney replied for the Clarenville squad. 

Phillip Corbett, Rod Mahoney and Mike Dyke of the Caribous along with Ryan Hawco, Mark Rideout and Mike Druken of the Caps were all given fighting majors and misconduct penalties.
