CANADA WORLD WOMEN’S BALL HOCKEY CHAMPS

Canada won the 2019 World Women’s Ball Hockey championship Saturday beating the United States 4-2 in the championship game.

 

There are three Newfoundland players on the team, Kristen Cooze from Kippens, April Drake from Long Cove and Dawn Tulk from Deer Lake.

The team coach is Steve Power from St. John’s and the team physician is Ian Marshall of St. John’s.
