BRONZE BASEBALL MEDAL FOR CAPS

St. John’s claimed the bronze medal at the Atlantic Pee Wee Baseball championships and they were leading 18-8 over New Brunswick when the game was forfeited to St. John’s by a score of 7-0.

A New Brunswick player was ejected for malicious contact. NB gad no subs left to put in the game so it was forfeited to St. John’s.

Its first medal at these championships since 2009 for St Johns when they also won a bronze medal. Hammond’s Plains Nova Scotia won the goals as they beat PEI 12-4. PEI take silver.
