BREAKERS, STARS WIN IN JUNIOR HOCKEY

There were two St. John’s Junior Hockey League games Friday night and one ended in a shootout.

 

Seamus Slade gets the winner in a shootout as Southern Shore Breakers edge Northeast Eagles 4-3.

 

Blake Dalton had two Shore goals and Liam Hynes added a single.

 

Max French, Tyler Anthony and Kyle Champion scored for the Eagles.

 

At Bay Roberts the C-B-N Stars gets five goals from five different players and beat Trinity Placentia Flyers 5-2.

 

Andrew Churchill, Ryan Dawson, Mark Barrett, Jordan Coombs and Daniel Hickey scored for the winners.

 

Rile Maine and Lyndon Thorne were the Flyers goal scorers.
