CLARENVILLE HERDER MEMORIAL CHAMPIONS

The Clarenville Caribous are the 2018 Newfoundland and Labrador Senior Hockey champions and winners of the Herder Memorial Trophy.

 

The Caribous claimed their fourth title and first since 2012 as they swept the St John’s Caps in straight games in the best of seven series.

 

They completed the sweep Saturday night with a 6-1 decision over the Caps at the Jack Byrne arena. Kevin Reid and Chad Earle tallied twice for the Herder champions.
