Defending champions Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Gonzaga Vikings won the opening game of the St. John’s senior baseball best of seven final series.
The Vikings tallied five times in the first inning and go on to an 8-4 decision over Shamrocks at St. Pat’s Ball Park.
Matthew Peterson gets the win for the Vikings and Greg Barry is tagged with the loss.
Game two in the series is set for 3:30 Saturday.
