ACES ADVANCE TO CORNER BROOK BASEBALL FINAL

1 min read

Aces downed Hawks 10-2 in Corner Brook senior baseball semi final play.

The win means they win the best of five series three games to one and advance to the final against Westside Monarchs who swept their series against Marlins.

Michael Tavenor pitched the win on a six hitter. Cory Lockyear started and took the loss. He was relieved by Frank Humber who then gave way to Aaron Pilgram. Aces scored five runs in the second inning in this game

This marks the first time in 28 years that the Hawks have failed to make the best of seven final series.
