RMM AVALON CAPITALS WIN 9-3

The Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capital fired 58 shots at St. John’s Caps goaltender Matthew Redmond and came away with a 9-3 win over the Caps.

Coady Barron and Stephen Baldwin led the offensive attack with two goals each. Jarrid Lush, Alex Saunders, Evan Gallant, Daniel Burke and Josh Dillon added singles.

Nathan Peters, Liam Maher and Danny Rice replied for the Caps.

In another game Saturday night C-B-R Renegades downed Northeast Eagles 7-1.

Andrew Barron and Jim Kennedy tallied twice for the winners with the singles from Stephan Predham, Ryan Day and Aaron Greenham. Brad Howell replied for the Eagles.

F R I D A Y

C-B-N Stars get two goals each from Jordan Coombs, Ryan Dawson and Mason Oates and defeat Southern Shore Breakers 10-3 in St. John’s Junior Hockey play Friday night.

Mark Ryan, Kyle Tetford, Ryan Petten and Steven Moore added singles.

A J Doyle, Blake Dalton and Chandler Warren replied for the Breakers.

This game was basically decided in the second period when the Breakers erupted for seven goals.
