GLEN DAVIS WILL BE IN EDGE LINEUP

The St. John’s Edge have confirmed   that the club has signed Baton Rouge, Louisiana native and eight-year NBA Veteran, Glen “Big Baby” Davis for the 2018-19 season.

Davis, 6-foot-9, 289 pounds played his college ball at Louisiana State University. Davis was drafted in 2nd round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Seattle Supersonics. On that same day, his draft rights were traded, along with Ray Allen to the Boston Celtics.  

The 6-foot-9 forward, alongside, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo, and Paul Pierce would go on to capture the 2008 NBA Championship. Boston’s first NBA Championship since 1986. On the season Glen “Big Baby” Davis, in 76 games, would average 4.54 points and 3.01 rebounds as a rookie with the Celtics.
