Mount Pearl continues their winning ways in St. John’s Junior Hockey. Sunday Mount Pearl downed Roebothan, McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 3-1. Colin O’Neill tallied twice for the Blades and Nathan Dunne had a single. Henry Power replied for the Capitals.
In another game Trinity Placentia Flyers downed Southern Shore Breakers 8-3

Mount Pearl Blades get six goals from six different players and defeat St. John’s Caps 6-3 Saturday night. Scoring the the Blades were Adam Nolan, Colin O’Neill, Michael Broders, Jack Keough, Nathan Dunne and Grant Thompson.
Michael Williams, Andrew McIntoish and Murray Burns replied for the Caps.

A J Doyle scored a pair of goals and the hometown Southern Shore Breakers doubled the St. John’s Caps 6-3 in junior hockey play Friday night.
The Breakers scored twice in each period while the Caps did all their scoring in the third.
Blake Dalton, Michael Clarke, Shayne Kavanagh and Roand Power had the other Shore goals.
Matthew Mills, Kyle Rumsey and Michael Williams scored for the Caps.
In another game CBR Renegades defeated CBN6-4.
