CBN Stars skated to a 7-3 win over Trinity Placentia Flyers in St. John’s Junior Hockey play. Mark Barrett had two goals for the winners with singles from Ryan Petten, Kyle Terford, Christian Dawe, Ryon Williams and Mason Oates.
Brandon Secton and Tyler Whitten scored for the Flyers.

Ian Woolfrey stopped all shots fired his way and St. John’s Caps blanked Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals 3-nothing in one of two St. John’s Junior Hockey games Saturday.
Andrew McIntoish, Michael Williams and Justin Hann had the goals for the winners.
In a second game CBR edged Northeast 5-4.
Five players shared in the scoring. Nick Gosse, Ryan Morrissey, Tyler Wall, Jim Kennedy and Blake Fudge shared in the scoring.
Daniel Toope, Ryan Roache, Ben Roberts and Brad Howell replied for the Capitals.

Southern Shore Breakers win 9-2 over the Trinity Placentia Flyers in one of two St. John’s Junior Hockey games Friday night. Shayne Kavanagh, A J Doyle and Blake Dalton had two goals each for the winners. Liam Shea and Justin Edison scored for the Flyers.
In Bay Roberts with hometown Stars doubled the St. John’s Caps 6-3.
Cameron Simms and Ryan Petten had two goals each for the winners with singles from Mark Barrett and Jordan Coombs. Nathan Kenny, Kyle Lind and Dylan MacKenzie replied for the Caps. There are two Junior games on Saturday Northeast Eagles play CBR at seven while at eight Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon Capitals face St. John’s Caps.
