The ANC Mile took place Sunday on the Boulevard in St. John’s.
Evan Knight finished first in a time of 4 minutes and 45 seconds. Levi Moulton was second in 4:49 and Eric Knight third in 5:16.
Chantel Barnes was the first female finisher in 5:42 with Thelma Greene second at 6:14 and Jenny Brace in 6:16.
In the school section. 15 year old Patrick Hurley of Beaconsfield was first in 5:19 and Aaron Reid of St Paul’s High second in 5:54.
The first female finisher was 12 year old Elizabeth McKay of Vanie in 6:35.
