17 year old Alex Newhook of St.John’s has been named the CJHL’s rookie of the year.
Playing for the Victoria Grizzlies Newhook played 45 games and had 22 goals and 44 assists for 66 points.
He had a ten game points streak from December 6th to 9th and had 26 points in that period.
He has committed to play for Boston College in 2019-20 season.
