BREAKERS BLANK CAPS TO TIE EAST COAST HOCKEY FINALS

The best of seven East Coast Senior Hockey final is tied at two games each following weekend play.

Sunday Mark Power stopped all 44 shots fired his wa as Southern Shore Breakers blanked St. John’s Caps 5-nothing . Jeremy Nicholas and Blake Dalton scored twice each for the Shore. Ben Crowell added a single.

Saturday the Caps came away with a 3-1 victory

S A T U R D A Y 

 

St. John’s Caps have taken a two games to one lead over Southern Shore in the East Coast Senior Hockey best of seven final series.

 

The Caps get a goal by Justin O’Rielley at 19:04 of the second period that stood up as the game winner as the Caps down the Shore 3-1. Steve Tilley and Mark Rideout had the other Caps goals.

 

Blake Dalton had the shore goal.

 

Kyle Downer in goal for the Caps made 43 saves while Mark Power had 39 saves in the Breakers net.

 

Game 4 is Sunday at eight at Mobile.
