BLADES EVEN BEST OF SEVEN JUNIOR HOCKEY FINALS

S U N D A Y 

Mt. Pearl Blades evened their best of seven St. John’s Junior Hockey League final Sunday with a 5 – 3 victory over the CBR Renegades at the Glacier in Mt. Pearl.

 

Michael Broders, Jack Keough, Grant Thompson, Daniel Toope and Stephen Predham shared in the scoring for the Blades..

Tyler Wall, Nick David and Drew Stonehouse replied for CBR.

 

Game three of the best of seven final goes Tuesday night 8:30 pm at the Glacier in Mt.Pearl.

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

 

Blake Fudge scored at 5:25 of the 1st overtime period to give the CBR Jr. Renegades a 5 – 4 overtime win over the Marks Mt Pearl Jr. Blades in game one of the best of seven junior hockey final.

 

Andrew Barron, Ryan Day, Lucas Lush and Luke Peddle also scored for CBR in regulation time.

 

James O’Brien tallied twice for the Blades with  Colin O’Neill and Bobby Upshall adding singles.

 

Game two will be played Sunday night at the Mt. Pearl Glacier, starting at  7:15.
