WEST-CENTRAL FINAL TIED AT A GAME EACH

S U N D A Y 

The Clarenville Caribous and Gander Flyers split the opening two games of the Central West Senior Hockey League best of seven final series.

 

Kevin Reid had five goals for  the Caribous in an 8-2 win on Sunday. Justin Pender, Chad Earle and Dustin Russell had singles. Pat O Keefe and Mitch Oke replied for the Flyers

 

 

 

 

S A T U R D A Y 

Gander Flyers using the home crowd to their advantage beat Clarenville 7-5 in the opening game of the best of seven Central West Senior hockey final series.

 

Brandon Hynes and Jordan Escott scored twice each for the Flyers.  Pat O’Keefe, Paul Hutchings and osh Fitzgerald added singles.

 

Ryan Derosiers had two goals for the Caribous. Jordan Kennedy, Chad Earle and Keith Delaney had singles.  

 

Game Two set for Sunday afternoon in Gander.
