SOUTHERN SHORE WIN OPENING GAME OF JR HOCKEY SEMI FINALS

S A T U R D A Y 

 

Southern Shore won the opening game of their St. John’s Junior Hockey League semi final series as the  downed the CBR Renegades  5-2.   

 

A J Doyle, Patrick Pilon, Donavan Warren, Blake Dalton, and  Liam Hynes scored for the Shore.

 

Andrew Barron and Colin Chafe scored for the Renegades.

 

F R I D A Y

 

CBR Renegades advanced to the St. John’s Junior Hockey League semi finals as they defeated Trinity Placentia Flyers 8-3 Friday night.

 

Lucas Lush led the winners with four goals and one assist.

 

Cole Thorne had two goals for the Trinity Placentia team.

 

The semi finals begin Saturday night as CBR host the Southern Shore at seven.

 

The other series will feature Mount Pearl and CBN Stars. They start that series Sunday at the Glacier
