FINAL GAME 2 SUNDAY
Greg Smith of St. John’s and his rink of Matthew Hunt, Andrew Taylor and Ian Withcombe will be the Newfoundland and Labrador representative at the 2018 Brier.
Smith defeated Andrew Symonds in the final 9-6 to become the winner of this years Tankard.

There will be another game Sunday to decide this years Tankard winner and Newfoundland representative at the 2018 Brier.
Andrew Symonds and his team defeated Greg Smith 9-4 Saturday to force the deciding game because Smith had gone undefeated in round robin play and has to be beaten twice.

SEMI FINAL
Andrew Symonds and his rink will go against Greg Smith in the final of the 2017 Tankard to see who will advance to the Brier. Symonds defeated Adam Boland 6-4 to advance to the final. Smith who went undefeated in the round robin play has to be to beaten twice. The final starts at 7:30 Saturday night at the ReMAX Center
