The Corner Brook Royals on Hockey Day in Canada defeated Stephenville Jets 3-1 in West Coast play Saturday.
Josh Taylor led the Royals with a pair of goals with a single goal from Tyler Hunt.
Dawson Drake had the Jets goal.
At Port aux Basques the Mariners beat Deer Lake 7-5.

The Western Senior Hockey League had two games on Friday night.
Deer Lake doubled Corner Brook 4-2 and in a shootout Port aux Basques edge Stephenville 8-7
Saturday Deer Lake play at Port aux Basques and Stephenville goes to Corner Brook.
And Sunday the Royals go to Port aux Basques
