Roebothan McKay and Marshall Avalon  Capitals get six goals from six different players and down Northeast Eagles 6-3 in Junior Hockey play Sunday.

 

Owen Windsor, Jared Lush, Matthew Caines, Adam Caines, Jaffy Jardine and Jake Abbott shared in the scoring.

 

Kyle Champion had two goals for the Eagles and Max French and Ben Roberts contributed singles.

The St. John’s Caps beat Trinity Placentia Flyers 3-1.

 

Liam Maher, Michael Williams and Dylan McKenzie netted the Caps goals. Cole Thorne replied for the Flyers.

C-B-R Renegades beat Southern Shore Breakers 8-3 in action Saturday night.

 

Blake Fudge led the winners with two goals with singles from Nick David, Tyler Nickson, Mitch Lawlor, Tyler Wall, Thomas Pottle, and Brad Connors.

 

Kieran O’Driscoll, Donovan Warren and A J Doyle replied for the Breakers.

Cameron Simms second goal of the game at 1:13 of overtime lifted C-B-N Stars to a 4-3 win over C-B-R Renegades in St. John’s Junior Hockey League play Friday night.

 

Ryan Williams and Matthew Hopkins had the other goals for the winners.

 

Lucas Lush had a pair of markers for the Renegades and Nick Davis added a single.

Northeast Eagles scored three second period goals and defeated Southern Shore Breakers 5-3 also in a game Friday night.

 

Brandon Sexton paced the winners with two goals with singles from Max French, Lcas Reid and Ben Roberts.

 

Daniel Aylward, Donovan Warren and Shayne Kavanagh were the marksmen for the Breakers.
